Format

This format is the most universal and widely used. Each row represents a transaction similar to a relational database or Excel file.

In Emcien, there are three special columns used to capture special data. These columns are optional.

Limitations & Other Notes

  • Category Names (the header of the file) must be in lower ASCII only
  • UTF-8 characters allowed for values
  • Maximum of 1,000 user defined columns
